Sure looked like fun, kind of a hollow victory for the bowhunter, but the guide proved to be worth his salt which is exactly what he was getting paid for. Mouth calling coastal brown bear while packing my double rifle is on my list of things to do in the near future. Anybody want to go?

That's some close quarters action with an almost 3/4 ton bear. I can't watch stuff like that without thinking of Timothy Treadwell's last mistake. Back up plan, gotta have a back up plan.

Same thing happened to me, took 3 - .338 rounds to keep him off us. Thank goodness for a great guide.
