6.8 + Hogs

110 gr sierra prohunter and the 130 gr berger hunting vld are two that I have had great luck with. Javelina, not hogs but imagine similar results. benchmark and N133 are my go to powders but will get the specific load later.

120gr SST will take a 300lb plus hog out to 300 yds wiith no problem.

AA2200 is my favorite powder for velicoity plus accuracy

SSA brass, CCI 41 primer, 26- 27.5 grains of AA2200 with a COL of 2.295 (check length for fit in mag) using the SST.

If you do not reload:

Hornady 120gr SST
Federal Fushion 115gr
Silver State Armory 110 Sierra Prohunters

I have used SSA 110 gr accubond round since they have made them. Can not tell you the amount of deer and hogs I have shot with the round

I have had really good luck with the 110 V-MAX. I know is a varmint bullet but they hold together way better than I thought. I've complete pass throughs on 100-150 pound pigs. They have impressed me. It's all I shoot out of my 6.8.

That's what I use as well. They have a cantilure and while I didn't get an exit on a 240 lbs. buck it worked like a magic trick. But we don't have hogs here. If we did, I'd probably go to 120 grain SST.
