I'm back, it's been a busy summer and now it's time to focus on coyote hunting. Bubba is ready to lay waste to a bunch of coyotes this winter. This will be his 11th season and he's still going strong. As always, our goal is 100.



I've been practicing! Shot #1 was at 550 yards cold bore. Using the Ballistic AE program on my iPhone, re-calibrated to actual velocity (3919 fps out of the Swift), adjusted the Leupold scope with the new firing solution and fired shot #2.

Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, backed up to 618 yards, used the Ballistic AE to give me a new firing solution and bingo! Shot #3

No, Dash was home with the wife and hit by a car last year while I was hunting with Bubba.

Now it's just two old coyote hunters giving it our all.
