Weather, Temperature and prime fur.

Well it was-10°F here this morning. Still below zero at the cabin. Fur should be prime by the opening of the season. Fox and lynx. Nov. 10-15 depending on where. 16-18" of snow on the ground.
 
I think your right but we've had cold weather in October before, 35 below and all the predators I saw were pretty primed up. . But the best thing about the cold is the water ways start freezing up so they can be traveled sooner.
 
I know what you mean. I'm just pasting an article I read. I even notice my dogs hair grows faster the colder it gets lol.
