Annie went out with me again tonight to check a few traps and at our first stop, we came across this smaller badger in your typical moat. She went right to town on it. I've had her on more called coyotes, but badgers don't respond as reliably to calling and they settle down in the fall, so I've been trapping some to give her more opportunity. She jumps out of the truck now all eyes, ears, and nose. Turning out to be a great dog.
