I see you got him caped out for a mount... I got one years ago in velvet... Taxidermist did a good job, it has held up well over the years... I wanted one in velvet for a long time.... Nice going....

Yup, definitely getting this one mounted. I've never even seen a velvet from stand before, much less gotten a shot at one.

And yes, the temperature on the cam pic is probably right...or very close. I had serious frost on the windshield that morning I had to scrape off. It was prett cold opening weekend. High day temps were in the low 60's.
