Meopta meopro vs vx-3

I'll chime in since no one else is and we're practically neighbors:

I have heard good things about Meopro scopes. The guys at Pigeon Rd Sporting goods in Stephenville
talk them up quite a bit. I've heard Meopta made part, or all of the Zeiss Conquest line, which I really did like. That said, I've never looked through a meopta.

I have and really like the VX3 3.5-10x40. It'll cost you $100 more new than the Cameraland meopro, but it weighs 4 oz less and is slimmer on both ends for a low, sleek mounting on your hunting rifle.

I'd lean VX3 myself, but doubt you're going way wrong either way though..

I have the 3-9x42 meopro and to me it is a very nice clear and bright glass all the way to the edge. I don't have a VX3 to compare it to, but have some trigger time behind my cousins and it is very nice as well. I think you will pleased either way you go.

The extra 4 oz. is huge in my book. Not big deal to others.

I've owned over 50 Leupolds now, and have come to prefer them for a number of reasons......
