Can anyone give me their experiences with these bullets and hog hunting? I am wanting to know how they perform.

Thanks!

they work great. i use both 110-120 mind you i don't do bullet recovery, just hog recovery. don't have to look for many unless hit really bad.
check out our youtube channel. everything you see shot on there with an AR is 6.8 110-120 gr. v-max. except the hog shot by 7 year old girl, it was shot with 223 53gr v-max DRT!

I am surprised as the v max is designed for varmints and pigs are pretty tough skinned animals. I'll check out your YouTube channel once I'm home. I'm interested to see your results.

The 120gr hornady is an SST not a V-max bullet, the guys over on the 6.8 forums love them for hogs the 95gr barnes is the other top choice.

Most guys have trouble getting the 110gr V-max to shoot well I run them out of an older type1 1-10" barrel and they shoot good and knock the snot out of coyotes.
