My taxidermist called today... Got to go pick this guy up...



He came into Bay Bee Cottontail...



Went out tonight for one stand before dark... Called in this double..

Yes... Those are some of my better bucks I have killed over the years..

That mount looks great. Saw one while shooting prairie dogs a few weeks ago, but season is currently closed. He was pretty rough looking anyway in his summer coat.

I shot this one in January...

I saw a badger mount a while back and said the same thing... Wanted a big male with nice winter coat... Aside from porcupine and skunk these are some of the smelliest creatures...
