Picked up 500 of these. Wanted the empty brass more than anything and the price was right. They functioned and grouped just fine before I had my smith install a Jard trigger in my Bushy Varminter. Much sweeter trigger than the original but now it seems I'm getting a light strike on this Federal ammo and most fail to fire. Hornady factory ammo works just fine. My smith says he can't adjust the Jard spring nor will the factory hammer spring fit the Jard to get the Federal ammo to function. Anyone else run into this and does Federal use Mil Spec primers in this American Eagle stuff?
