Back After 'Em

Took a month off to turkey hunt, and in the process of scouting a bird, I watched two coyotes break a field and chase my tom off. Roosted the bird for me, but he eluded me the next morning. I decided to go back the following Monday and sit over the newly planted corn field to see if I could call one of them out. Sun went down, and I hit the lucky bird call. This first year pup came out of the thickets at 210 yds and began making his way. He stopped at 195 yds and gave me a nice quartering to shot. I dropped him in his place with the .204. Entry wound in the front quarter of his chest, no exit. One less to chase off the turkeys...
