Hodgdon Lot Numbers

It's on that orange sticker, usually on the bottom of the container. If it's a one pound can, it'll begin with a number 1, then the date of manufacture, then a four digit lot number. If it's an 8 pound can, same as above except for the number 8 at the beginning.
Hodgdon had a slow lot of Varget a while back. It was more like 4350 than Varget. Last 4 were "4133".
They currently have a recall on Lil Gun, IIRC. That lot is probably too fast, which is why they're recalling it. They never recalled the slow lot of Varget, but they will replace it if you tell them that you have some and send in the lot number sticker.
