Clean teeth, Dentistry for Coyotes?

Went through some old pics...and came across this one.

I can't believe how clean their teeth are. For a wild animal, their teeth are way cleaner than my own pet, dog!

Guess the dog food I feed my dog and dog bones, along with my dog not chewing her nyla bones enough...will not do it for her.
She needs to be on the diet a coyote eats!

Again, I just cant believe how clean their teeth are...this is not the first time I've seen this either.

They aren't all like that but more often than not, they are. At least from what I have seen.

young coyotes have clean teeth.
old coyotes not so much.

Crapshoot those are some narly teeth! They remind me of a past German Shorthaired Pointer I had, that would chew chainlink or cage kennel just to get out.

Borkon, that sure makes sense.

Maybe some of it is genetics as well; just like people. Some have strong healthy teeth some don't.
