Uses or demand for recovered bullets?

The snow has thawed and it was a long winter. I was walking around my buddies front yard were we did a bit of shooting over the winter. I now have around 6lbs of bullets I picked out of the yard. Is this just garbage?

I don't cast my own bullets but I do have an antique casting pot but no dies. Is this usefull to me or anyone else?

There may be some crazy typos here. I am on a touch screen iPod for one of the first times.

smelt it down and pour it into clean lead bars and it is worth some money, about a dollar a pound. as what you picked up it is worth scrap at the scrap yard. ranges from 25 cents a pound to 45 cents a pound around here.

I'm not too worried about makeing any money. Heck, if someone wants to pay shipping they could have them. I just didn't want to leave them in the yard or toss them, lead is getting somewhat valuable.
