unique coyote up in maine

this is a trail cam pic of a coyote my friend shot the next day. at the shot it went into a spin and we thought it was a gonner but then it took off and we haven't found it yet. great blood trail for quite a ways but very deep crusty snow and thick going then blood petered out.it's a real bummer especially when it is so cooly marked.

I'm sad to say that we never did find this coyote. It wasn't from lack of effort though. very thick woods, deep snow and 2 additional snow storms made it pretty impossible. It would be cool if it was only wounded and we get another chance at it,but I kinda doubt it though.dam shame to lose a cool hide like that. still huntin hard though.
