Ok frustrated 243 80gr GMX

If you wanted to try some of the 70 gr Speer TNTs, PM me. I'd like to try some GMX and see if my rifle like em. We can do a trade.

Start shooting the 58gr vmax at longer ranges and see how it does. If it's as accurate as you say it is it should be great at 200 ,maybe even farther. Shoot those till something better comes along. Be patient.

The 80 GMX is accurate for me with 45.2grs H4831, I put 3 into .7" and 7 into 1.1" @ 115yds last time out to the range with my 243.

I am gonna see how the 58 does at 200 in the morning I just didn't know how they would tolerate wind at that distance I'm also gonna try 70gr Speer and 85gr Barnes just to see how they group I think they would be a better paper punch and use my 58 for dogs

Just got back from running the 80g GMX in my Savage M10 .243, 22" sporter bbl.
All over the chrony @ 15', 100 yard groups.
Not one single issue with pressure, all primers nicely rounded & could go at least 2g more IMO,
3200 fps is good for me to 600 yards out here.

80g gmx, cci200, 44g w760, 2.750" col, 3231 fps .600"
44g 2700, 3218 fps, .900"
40g imr3420, 3210fps, .850"
41g h380, 3137fps, .980"
38g xbr8208, 3193fps, 1.300"

I ran 5 shots w/my 65g coyote load then ran all the 80g GMX loads, no barrel cleaning. Pulled the bolt after each 5 rounds and the barrel was clean w/no dirty powder residue left behind with any of those I used.
