What is the actual chamber on a S&W MP-15 .223/5.56?

My DPMS upper barrel is stamped 5,56mm.




My DPMS is stamped .223. They chamber both!!

my colt is stamped 223 on the receiver and 5.56 on the barrel!

Well thats quite the conundrum. You dont have anything to worry about since both are stamped differently its safe to shoot both.
