Who to send a pelt to for tanning?

who can a guy send a pelt to to have it tanned? ive only had one pelt sent off from a taxidermist to tanning and when it came back it had more holes in it then it had fur on its back. Id like to find a quality tannery or someone to do it and do it right!

Learn how to do it yourself and you will ultimately put out a better product than the vat tanned commercial tanneries. I wouldn't dream of sending anything off I intended to keep. I guess with you it makes more sense to send it off. Moyles is as good as any. But if you ever start to peel stuff in any quantity, tanning becomes like a secondary hobby to calling/trapping. I've been at it now about 7 years. There's definitely a learning curve so expect to butcher a few but learn to tan and you won't be sorry.
