Decoy for night hunting

I only hunt Coyotes at night time and was thinking of buying a decoy, do decoys work well at night even on dark nights without a full moon? I know they have decent vision at night but will they be able to see the decoy?

I use a little Mojo spinner. I know that my dog can clearly see it so a predator will have no trouble either. I think that anything that distracts them away from me is a good thing. Good luck!

I only use a decoy on bright moonlight nights (with snow down) in open areas.

I used one all last season, and I had them keying on the mojo spinning in the dark. Spooked on Fox as well. Not sure it is necessary to be honest.
