I thought I'd take a second to introduce myself the the trapping side of the forum....
My "trapping career" started a few weeks ago thanks to a friend that's been tempting me for a couple years. An old cowboy down the road was having problems with chickens disappearing, so I decided to help him out. I was excited to catch my first coon in a leg hold, disappointed to have something get away from my set, then hooked on trapping the day I found another raccoon and the gray fox that had escaped me a few days before! My traps (been using my friends') just arrived, were quickly dyed and waxed, and I couldn't be more excited to get out and set a few tonight!!

The one that got away (for the day)
Caught the one that got away two days later!
Count for the year so far:
Raccoons - 4
Gray Fox - 1
