Thanks Sparky, that's about the best shooting factory .22 I've fooled with that didn't cost a grand. Another rifle the OP might want to look for would be th izhmash biathalon basic. Run into some guys at the range a couple years ago shooting them seemed like real tack drivers. Had slick side lever actions and I believe the price they paid was sub $400 they probally cost more now but still worth a look.
