Schrade USA 497 49er...

Just picked up a Schrade USA 497, with 49er on the sheath. Butt marks are an anvil and a shield. Near as I can figure, it's 70's, and one of the first in the 49er series that ran for several years, but not the rarest.

I sure like this knife.

Wanted to find out if anybody knew about it, value, etc.

I'm thinking about copying it, and selling it as an old/new set, selling it as-is, or keeping it as my personal carry knife since I like vintage knives.

Anyone know this knife?

I like the 497 pattern, but not the plastic faux stag. Blade profile may have been "borrowed" from Western, not sure.......
 
Since the red box in the lower right of the second page has the identical marks, then mine would have to be the first part of this series, right? Or did they not change the shield through the series?
