You shooting them out of a muzzle launcher or M203.

I am the manager of a golf course and have never had anyone ask this question so I don't know the answer. Can you tell me if you can shoot 5.56 in a 223?

Im doing load development of a different kind :)I dont have a guess on muzzle velocity, not quite ballzy enough to chronagraph it. I was 200yds from a woods. I shot 200grs as a test shot, it didnt touch the snow in 200yds. Couldnt even see it fly. Tried 500grs same thing. Gonna head to a open dirt field for more testing. All im gonna say is man what a waste of powder, amd that golf ball hauls some azz.

Golf balls fly great out of a potatoe gun. On my spud cannon my chamber is 4" dia. x 12" long, with a optimal charge of 10seconds of aquanet the farthest i have shot a potatoe is 225ish yards. A golf ball goes way farther, havnt actually measured it but its atleast 300yds. Im thinking a steel acetylene powdered golf ball cannon is thw way to go. Cheaper than black powder, not as cheap as a potatoe gun but it will shoot farther

That is a work of art... However, I do remember a Patrick McManus story about something like that.

Wow thats a pretty crappy BC. Maybe i should slug the bore and start casting some ballets. LOL. Im really curious of the velocity but i think the muzzle blast will give me false readings. Gotta love cheap fun toys.
