Ode to Redfrog

In appreciation to Redfrog for putting that great hunt together I made up a little song while we were sitting around the campfire. Sung to the tune of one of Red's favorite songs, "Weed With Willie" by Toby Keith.

I always heard his callin was top shelf
Lord I just could not wait to hear it for myself
Well don't knock it till you've heard it
And I've heard it my friends
I'll never shoot coyotes with Redfrog again!

Now I learned a hard lesson in a small Canadian town
He fired up a howler and blew me a sound
The last words I spoke before we settled in
I may discount bungee jump but,
I'll never shoot coyotes with Redfrog again.

We hopped in his old truck the 'ol Coyote Foe
The hunt was on in Youngstown it was after a snow
Alone on the prairie just me and him
I took one friendly listen and the grim squeaker set in

Now we're sittin on a stand an we're lookin for yotes
I can tell ones a comin cause Red gettin stoked
No I do not partake I just let it pass by
With a grin on my face Red sends him to the sky

In the fetal position with frost on my chin

Do you guys think the frog could learn to play a guitar and sing that song at next years hunt . It sure would be a sight .
 
Brad how do you know me so well?? I guess you just get to know a guy when you hunt with him, even when its for a short time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
