howa 22.250

well i went to look at a tikka .243 but came home with a howa 1500 snow king in 22.250 with a 20" bull barrel in a 1/14 twist as the best i can tell,and a 4x16x44 nikko stirling scope to match,dont know much about that brand if any one would like to give some feed back on it.and i know i will most likely get flamed for the short barrel but i just liked the short version better [img:center]

Nice gun, and you'll do fine with the short barrel. The scope is junk, but will likely work for a while, but I'd recommend planning on upgrading it at some point. Gotta love a Howa

Yep. Good action the 1500 is. I have owned a Vanguard (1500) in 22-250 for around 25 yrs. now.

Unfortunately, I agree about the scope, also........
