Lubricating Brass

I have a can of Kiwi mink oil that is years old. I think that it is only called mink oil but really contains just silicone and lanolin. Anyway the 3 1/4 oz can has lubed thousands of rounds of brass and is maybe half gone.

Cross my heart- I have never stuck a case with this stuff. Not ever. I used to use Imperial but this stuff is way cheaper and for me anyway it works better.

All I can say is to try it. Heck, if you for some reason don't like it you can always waterproof your boots with it.
 
I use the RCBS glycerin lube for large amounts of brass. I will put tumbled brass in a plastic bag and squirt in the lube. You don't need a lot but you have to let it set over night. The lube will creep over the brass. This requires some pre planning but if you can give it a day or two it will work. If you open the bag and the brass is not damp you will have to add a little more lube and let it set another day or use the Imperial lube on the dry ones. kwg
