Finally thought I'd give a cooper a try. 10 rds and I'm impressed. Topped it with a vortex viper 6.5-20x44.

Loved my upgraded 21 Varmint Extreme and upgraded 38 Classic 17 Ackley Hornet. The 21 lives in TN and the 38 on Kodiak Island now.

I have a model 22 in 6mm rem that looks just like yours. It's also a very good shooting rifle as is the other Coopers I own.

Thats a fine looking rifle! Always wanted a Cooper but just havent done it yet. I like the stock on that. Some dsy I hope to own one.

Best of luck on a yote with it this year.

I wanted a walnut stock but the one scheels had had scratches on it already and they would only discount it 50 bucks. I can scratch guns myself. No need to buy a new one that way.

I'm a fan of synthetic stocks, takes one variable out of the equation.

Nice rifle, how do you like the Vortex? I typically use Elite 4200's in 6-24x or 8-32x.

I drank the vortex poison. I'm hooked on them. I have two viper 6.5-20s with fine line reticles and I have a 6-24 PST. They are the cats meow.

Another group from the cooper. This was 10 rounds of 50 gr blitz kings with 25.5 gr H335. Shot at 50 yards. I'm loving this rifle I just don't know what else to do with it. No load development to do.

Cover it with a dime.
