Steyr .222 Calling Out To Me

One of the local gun stores has a Steyr .222 with the set trigger and an old school Zeiss Diavari scope on it. The owner of the store is a bench rest fiend and has one hole groups he shot with this rifle.

He started out with a $2600 price tag on it, and told me he'd take $2200 at one point, now he's down to $1800, especially before he goes to gun shows. That Zeiss scope is almost that much new.

That rifle keeps calling out to me, what's making it hard is the guns a friend keeps selling me, he offered me a Bill Davis competition .357 for $1000 that would cost around $2000+ to replace, it has the sweetest double action trigger pull I've ever felt on a pistol. Plus he has a speed holster and six speed loaders he's throwing in with it. I think it's built on a S&W model 66, it's got the adjustable weighted bull barrel with range adjustable front sights and fancy grips.

I hate it when too many great guns come up in too short a period.
