As the mega-storm approached, Obama released images of himself sitting in the white house situation room trying to look…”presidential.”

He’s trying to replace the idea that he sat there on 9-11-12 and ordered those who wanted to save lives in Benghazi to stand down.

It’s pathetic and pathetically transparent.

Since September 11th, 2012, Obama has been avoiding the press corps like the plague.

Sure, he’s done interviews. 60 Minutes, Letterman, Leno, The View, Pimp With a Limp, Univision, some wad of nothing with a dead whatever it was on his head from MTV. You get the idea.

Friendly interviews…nothing tough please. Fluff. Meaningless pap.

BULLCRAP.

He’s been in the final weeks of a failing campaign trying to get another 4 years for his failed policies.

If he really stood in front of the press corps, they’ll ask him something tough. Well, at least Ed Henry would but, can’t take THAT chance…Can he?

No WAY.

However, in the last 2 days, Obama HAS stood in front of the press.

I call BULLCRAP!!!

Obama is using hurricane Sandy to magically appear in front of the press knowing full well he won’t have to field a question on Benghazi.

It’s pathetic and pathetically transparent.

The Emperor is using the hurricane as cover to look “presidential” in front of the press while hiding from Benghazi in plain sight.

On Monday, as the storm approached, Obama hopped on the white house briefing room stage and told us THE most ASTOUNDING THING!!!

He told us all that hurricane Sandy was going to be a big storm. It was going to cause damage. It was going to take a long time to repair the damage and to do what area Governors and Mayors told you to do.

Well, thank GOD because had the EMPEROR not let us all in on THAT late breaking news…WHO KNOWS WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED!!!

Yesterday, AFTER the hurricane…Obama AGAIN appeared and broke some MORE shocking news.

Hurricane Sandy HAD been a big storm. There WAS a bunch of damage. People HAD died. It IS going to take a long time to repair the damage. The storm ISN’T over because…IT’S MOVING…And of course…Do what area Governors and Mayors tell you to do.

Naturally, the EMPEROR’S breaking news reports were filled with more stammering, pauses and “um’s and “a’s” because he wasn’t using his teleprompters.

Emperor: Look, we’re dealing with a storm here and right now, that’s the priority. We have lots of…um…a… people hurting along the…a…um…East Coast. I’m not talking any…um…a…questions on…um…Libya…

Me: Why in the [beeep] are you out here telling us crap we already know about this hurricane less than 24 hours after it hit but you haven’t come out to take questions on Benghazi in 50 days???

The Obama Campaign Administration is trying to use Obama being presidential to prop up his job approval ratings which have been sagging more than a braless Whoopie Goldberg.

While sputtering at the Red Cross yesterday, the Emperor wrapped up his speech by stating: “This is a tough time for a lot of people. Millions of folks all across the eastern seaboard but…America’s tougher…we’re tougher because we pull together…We leave nobody behind…We make sure that we respond as a nation…and remind ourselves that whenever an American is in need…All of us stand together to make sure we’re providing the help that’s necessary.”

Oh no he didn’t…

And for not wanting to “stand DOWN” both of these exceptional American Leaders were rounded UP and kicked OUT!!!

Bring up the Vegas Campaign Vacation on the day AFTER the attack in Benghazi or the FACT that 2 weeks POST attack the Emperor was blaming it all on some You Tube video…Talk about the cover-up and whoa Nelly…

These, of course, are the same people who, during the last 4 years of constant campaigning, said that Obamacare was NOT a tax, blamed Bush, the weather and earthquakes for the failing economy, called the Tea party racists, Astroturf, an angry mob, terrorists and insane…They said Mitt Romney was responsible for a woman’s death from cancer and called him a felon…They claim the republicans are obstructing congress while more than 30 bills passed BY republicans have been shelved by…democrats…They say conservatives are responsible for upcoming sequestration…And they blame America first.

One of them was supposedly killed by who knows who in Egypt last week and right now, the Tunisians have one in custody.

A third, ABU KHATTALA, is thought to be one of the masterminds behind the 9-11 attack in Benghazi.

Find HIM? Bring HIM to justice?

Last week, ABU KHATTALA was spotted by the NYT and Fox News reporter Greg Palkot sitting at a sidewalk café…in Benghazi…sipping a strawberry frappe.

Apparently that’s what he does when he’s not planning a terrorist attack or sitting on his couch with his computer.

He just doesn’t seem to be that hard to find.

Today, the Emperor will take his campaign to New Jersey to survey the storm damage.

In his appearance at the white house briefing room and again at the Red Cross blather op, the Emperor used his and MSNB3Stooges “lean forward” slogan.

Let the gnashing of liberal/socialist teeth begin.

If he drops that thinly transparent campaign line again today, let’s hope Governor Christie tells him to take a long walk off a recently shortened pier.

Great report,but at the end,"let’s hope Governor Christie tells him to take a long walk off a recently shortened pier.".From what I've seen on TV,that ain't gona happen soon.Christie looks to be all wrapped up in Barata these days.obama is,for political reasons only,doing what a President should be doing during a homeland crisis,but he sure as [beeep] isn't doing the international job he should be.
 
I love the line "meaningless interviews, fluff". I haven't heard Romney answer one tough question, he just acts like he doesn't hear them or entirely changes his position. For a group who used to be so tough on flip flopping Romney is getting the mother of all flip flop passes. (hey I like that)

Considering the portrait of a past crisis under Bush, (that would be Katrina) it's quite a positive difference.

Bush when called at the golf course after Katrina hit, "I've got a barbecue this weekend at the ranch, I'll get to it Monday". Managed to fly over New Orleans Monday.

Katrina was the most mismanaged circle jerk in the history of the US short of the nonexistent occupation plans after taking over Iraq (but Bush owns that one too doesn't he?)

So no, compare the handling of this substantially bigger disaster with what went on after Katrina and you will have your model for how not to versus the model of how to facilitate a cleanup.

It's hilarious how the GOP sticks together to where a republican politician just plain isn't supposed to acknowledge anything Obama does right. Come on, if he gets something right it doesn't hurt to recognize it. What's wrong with Christy praising what he sees as a good job?

Meanwhile what about the support for a candidate to run this country by the guy who not only pioneered outsourcing to overseas countries, but is currently an investor in a Baine owned business set to close and relocate to China in December and laying off thousands of workers. Never mind that this company posted a third quarter profit of $471 million. Why wouldn't someone who cares about this country keep 5000 workers working while making money like this? Because more can be made operating out of China doesn't cut it.

I have a tough time envisioning Romney cracking down on American owned Chinese businesses when he is so heavily invested in them himself. In all fairness not to mention reality this administration has done many things to even up unfair advantages to american companies.

There aren't many issues that supersede the health of our economy in terms of lost jobs and corporate profits.

I'll take the slow, lethargic, but consistent growth we've been seeing over a return to losing 800,000 jobs a month as companies find it more profitable to outsource our jobs and products to China. What we've had versus a return to Bush era policies, I don't think so.

Yep, vote for the guy that knows how to relocate manufacturing to China. Put a bumper sticker on your car so people can see how you roll.

Kyotikid, do some homework and look at the array of things that this administration has done to help businesses compete with Chinese subsidized industries. Helping american businesses versus outsourcing them and laying off our workers, duh. What a choice huh?

And wait a minute, he is only doing a good job for political reasons? Yeah right. Perhaps he has the advantage of appointing people who actually know what they are doing unlike Bush who had filled his positions with incompetent idiots that got these jobs because they wanted them?

And who will Romney be appointing? A whole bunch of the same incompetents that were on Bush's cabinet.

That statement about doing this because it's politically advantageous is weak, either a guy can do the job or he can't, if he can he will. The GOP would be criticizing every blunder (and will be), and manages to even criticize when a good job is being done. This disaster relief effort will end up being picked to death whether a good job is done or not.

Woodguru, the problem with Katrina was that Louisiana had a Democrat governor, and New Orleans had a Democrat mayor.

Blanco refused to send in the National Guard for 5 days after Katrina because, in her own words, "I don't believe in the military performing law enforcement duties".

So FEMA workers couldn't be sent in because all your fellow democrats were down there shooting and raping everything that moved, while cleaning out every store they could get a brick through the window of.

Christie is presently in an untenable position. His State has been devastated. Cabana Boy has him by the balls. He has to play nice to get the support they need from Big Gov. With a bit of searching you will easily find many youtube videos showing his true feeling about the jugearred kenyan. You can bet that if you were a fly on the wall you would have heard him warned by the jack booted thugs that if he wanted to go to rear of the line all he had to do was continue to expose the corruption in the sock monkey administration.

So let these liberal loonies keep fooling themselves with these badly skewed polls, when they wake up Nov 7th to the Romney landslide they can come back and grovel at the feet of their masters, the Conservatives.

You can bet they will look just like this little liberal in the blue shirt taking his rightful beating from the big bad Conservative. We will be hearing the whineyass liberals screaming for help from the same person as the whippee here. Nuff said.

I have wondered what was going on with Christie for a little while now, before the hurricane. He was badmouthing Zero everywhere he went, then all of a sudden he was silent. And when Zero announced he was coming to New Jersey after the hurricane, Christie was already acting like they had been seeing each other on the sly for some time, and they were all but banging hips walking around touring the damage. It looked like Zero was walking his dog. Sure seems funny, but the change of heart didn't happen after the hurricane.
 
I think that if any of us were the Governor of a State with a major disaster, we would tend to smooze up to whomever was pulling the purse strings to give some financial/asset relief...I certainly don't fault Gov. Christie for doing what needs to be done to help speed up that process...

Obama is recognizably between a rock and a hard spot with the upcoming election and the various questions about the state of the economy, unemployment, Fast & Furious, and most recently, the Benghazi fiasco, not to mention the dismal performance in the first debate...After all, he has to do 'something' to appear "Presidential" in front of the cameras...

This is one case where I agree with Mayor Bloomberg when he requested that the President not come to NY City...due to the need to reallocate resources to assist with the President's security, however his initial insistence to continue with the planned marathon justified my low opinion of him....Just as Pres. Bush put off immediately going to New Orleans for probably the same reason...It's one thing to survey the aftermath by air and totally another to be on the ground in the middle of the incident...Emergency responders are better left to do their jobs than to be kowtowing to the needs of politicians...In the Katrina incident the judgement and graft of the local politicians was the primary cause of the whole recovery failure...
