I know that it seems that aerial hunting poses competition for the recreational coyote hunter but in reality, they can work together quite well. Aerial hunting allows the means to quickly cover numerous ranchers that have experienced losses in the past just prior to calving. By using aerial hunting, we are able to wait until the fur harvest is over then take care of as many ranchers as we can. By next fall the immigrant coyotes have filled the void and the recreational callers can have at them. That is how I believe that it should work. I try to always keep the recreational coyote hunter in the back of my mind while still reducing livestock losses. Wiley E
