The Vortex BDC reticle. Accurate???

Looking at this scope for my AR 223. I plan to shoot 53gr vmax and 77gr bullets. Didn't know how close the BDC reticle was for the 223. I know it won't be the same for the bullets I listed but hoping it fits the 77gr load and then i can compensate a little for the vmax load witha cheat sheet.

A standard BDC reticle isn't going to be "on" for assorted calibers, bullet weights, elevations, barrel lengths, bolt versus semi, barometric pressures, etc.

You can make your own "cheat sheet" for your particular loads out of your particular loads using the BDC sub-tensions however. You'll have to do all that on your end. Each "dot" will line up at some point in your bullets arc downrange, but you'll have to figure that out for sure on your end.
