How easy to lock pivot knob on Caldwell pivoting bipod (bench shooting)?

I use a Harris 9-13" pivoting bipod in the field but it is a little too tall for me for bench shooting. I want to buy a Caldwell 6-9" model but would want to lock down the pivoting motion. I know they make a non-pivoting model but I can use this 6-9" in the field too when I take a buddy and would want to use the pivot ability then.

I have to order online so can't check it out in person. I see it has a knurled knob to tighten the tension, but will it tighten up with finger pressure enough to keep it from pivoting?

I started out with Caldwell when I was a poor college student.
Now that I've switched to Harris I'd never go back.
Buy once, cry once. Get the Harris with a pod lock , rear sand bag, and commence shooting tiny groups.
