Associated Curlery??

I know hardly anything about knives. I've had this knife since I was a boy and carried it on my belt relentlessly in my younger days. I think I've cut everything from small trees to rocks with this thing. It says Associated Cutlery on the blade, and made in Germany on the back of the sheath. Does anybody know about these knives?

I know very little. I used to have a straight razor by them. It was also made in Germany (Solingen). I believe Associted Cutlery was based in San Francisco. They may have just been an importer and sold "contract" cutlery, not sure. I looked them up in 2 knife books that have thousands of cutlery companies listed, and they were not listed in either. That tells me they were either very small, or not around long, or both. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
