Just got a real deal on a Nikon Buckmaster scope. A 6-18X40SF that I plan to put on a .20 practical I am building. Looks like a great scope. Love the knobs and side focus. Plan to ware it out on Prairie Dogs next year.

Every one wants my job, the works hard and the days long but the pay is poor!

I have the same one on my .243 now with mildot reticle.
great scope for all I do with the .243 out to 800 yards.
I have had it on my 233s/22-250 & 6x45 also.

I have two of the same scopes, but both have dot reticles. I really like them. One I use on a Remington Sendero 6mm06, and the other is on a Sendero 7mm STW. They hold zero well. I haven't seen the dot reticle scopes advertised for a while, so they might not be available anymore.

Nikon does still have a Buckmaster with a Mil-dot in it's line up.
The BDC craze has been great especially with so many folks using Spot On to dial in all their shooting data to maximize the BDC accuracy. If you have checked it out, defintely worth looking at NIkon's Spot On Ballistic Program. It's all free.
Just in case anyone is looking right now, Nikon does have a big promotion going on involving their BDC reticle scopes. Pretty good rebate if I recall correctly.

I love shooting my .243 at yote's with 55 gr. ballistic tips. Almost as much fun as my .204 Ruger.
