17 Hornady Hornet vs Coyotes

Well, I got to try out my 17 Hornet on 2 coyotes this evening. The shots were right at 200 yards. The first coyote (pup) was facing me head on, and I shot it in the eye, DRT. The second coyote hopped into a sunflower field, and decided to come back and check out its buddy. He was standing broadside over the first coyote, and I put it right behind his shoulder. The hole visible in the picture is the entrance hole, no exit. After the shot he managed to spin twice, and then he stumbled about 20 yards. Overall, I am pretty impressed with the lil 17s performance on coyotes!

Yeah the fur wasn't too bad. Still a little thin. Just going to start some loading for the 17 here real soon, can't wait to play with a few loads.
