18 inch barrel, 1-7 twist .223 load

Anyone have a good recipe for coyotes? I just had a AR built with a 18 inch, 1-7 twist barrel. I'm guessing its going to require a fairly heavy bullet? Also we are saving fur this year so keep that in mind, I don't want to do any sewing! Thanks.

69 gr Sierra Match King sounds like a winner. BTW...a 1-7 will handle lighter. It's better to have too much twist vs not enough.

Plenty of choices on powder, Varget, H335, Benchmark...

8208 XBR is a good one as well. Meters like ball powder with out the side effects.

Don't overlook Benchmark or H4895 if you have some on hand.

55gr is all I have fired in my 16" 1/7,I have tried several powders that shot good but benchmark worked out best for me.
