The Obama administration is paying a public relations firm $20 million to educate Americans about the sweeping new health care law.

Porter Novelli has been awarded a contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to launch a national multimedia campaign explaining the Affordable Care Act, according to the trade publication PRWeek.

A Department of Health and Human Services spokesperson said the goal is to make sure Americans understand how the law will benefit them.

“The campaign will inform the American people about the many preventative benefits now available to those with Medicare, Medicaid and private health insurance as a result of the Affordable Care Act,” the spokesperson told PRWeek.

Polls have shown that Americans are largely confused about the health care law, with 6 in every 10 saying they didn't know enough about its provisions to judge how it would affect their own lives, according to a Kaiser Family Foundation poll in March.

Another $20 million spent to try and convince us we're too stupid to understand that we're getting screwed with Obamacare.

1.) If there is 2200 pages in a bill, any bill, there is too much BS written into it to begin with. There should be a 5 page cap.

2.) We didn't ask for mandated insurance, we asked for affordable health care.

3.) Nancy made everyone grumpy about this one way back when she said, "We have to approve the bill to see what's in it." I guess Nancy forgot who the [beeep] she's working for! We haven't!! Fire Nancy, fire the PR firm, explain it line by line yourself, then we'll talk.

4.) It is another fruitless waste of tax payer dollars until the Supreme Court decides if it's constitutional or not, don't you think?

5.) If we don't want your unconstitutional health care law now, do you really think we're going to want it after you spend another 20 million dollars of our hard earned money trying to tell us we're too stupid to understand it Obama??
