Received this photo of DSA poster in an e.mail and did a google on the Democratic Socialists of America. Found that the DSA supported John "swift boat" Kerry in 04 after rating the Clinton administration C- in the 90's.

In 2008, the DSA supported Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama in his race against Republican candidate John McCain.

Got a call today from an Obama get-out-the-vote fellow asking me to vote for the "O".

I told him I'd skin my own self with a dull butter knife before I'd vote that way.

Did you really need to ask??? [beeep] he's part of the Socialist movement to bring the Democratic party as far left as possible; has been for 2 decades. Which will of course be denied again, momentarily.

That is what his idea of the proper role of government is called without any embarrassment in Europe: Democratic Socialism.

Here in the US that term is a pejorative, so the Democrat Party shies away from it, but that is exactly what it is and that is why we have two parties with different visions of what government should and should not do.

I rember in 2008 a friend of mine was a volunteer for the Obama campaign.I said to him "the man is a Socialist,and a more than likly a Marxist" he said "I have not seen evidence of that" I said "have read any of his books"???!!! Hey,the man is a public school teacher,I mean can we expect any less?
