Got this sign from my dad. Picture it centered, in bold print, on a sign.

ATTENTION DEER:

THIS IS NOT A BAIT PILE!
This is a compost pile.
(Pursuant to Wisconsin Wildlife Conservation Order 3.100, W.A.C.O.)

You Are Hereby PROHIBITED FROM EATING FROM THIS PILE!!

VIOLATORS WILL BE SHOT ON SIGHT!!!

Think it'll work?
 
Well i dont know about other people but i am very happy that they outlawed hunting over bait for deer, they areant that hard to get that you need a bait pile, i mean go sit in any hayfeild just before dark and youll get a deer .

Try to make it a little clearer that it's a joke. Type "WARNING THIS IS A JOKE AND IT'S THE REASON IT'S POSTED IN THE HUMOR FORUM" That will make it a little clearer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
 
Don't know what I did, but, rabbits and deer guit comming visiting our garden, maybe it is because I verbally warned them when I stumbled upon the Fawn that was being a hooligan with it's parent(s). Said all trespassers will be prosecuted, prosecution for them, I would have tender meat on the stove, wouldn't really though, but, hey, it worked I guess!

DUH!!! if it is in the "HUMOR" forum, there's a pretty durned good chance that it's a ....JOKE!!!!

SHEESH!!!!! Shouldn't take a rocket scientist to get that one.

never have understood the "BAIT PILE" rule/law
I mean You can hunt them in a corn field right...

And who would have guessed......Humor in the humor section...
