best day ever

what a great day. we put out on a cold track at around 9:00am and by 1:30pm we saw 3 differnt cats and didn't walk more than a mile all day! at one time we had one dog on one cat and another dog on another and when they crisscrossed the cat almost ran over my dog and the dog never saw it. i almost pizzed my pants laughin'. dogs are done in. feet cut and ears torn from briars. i thought my little dog had a rupture but i guess they are just swelled and bleeding from dragging brairs. oouch!!!!!!!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
 
yep i used to be happy to see that many i one winter much less 1 day. maybe just a fluke but i'll take it. if kill season was still in we would really be braggin' but they will be bigger next year.
