When will pups be born in Utah?

Is the gestation period the time from conceiving to birth or up until when the pups are out of the den and on their own?

April to May. They'll be underground for about 2 weeks, and out and about around end of August most places. "On their own" about the end of Sept or so, I think.

The gestation period is the time they are cooking! I think its 63 days long.

Pups strike out on their own some time in July.

Gestation is from when they're conceived until the time they're born.

Wikipedia and some of the animal rights people have many coyote "facts" wrong.

I have seen plenty of pups out and about on there own by the middle of august.
