I'm going after bear for the first time this November. I'd appreciate any tips from someone in the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas. I'll be hunting about 20 miles west of Clinton, AR and have a natural area that funnels the bear to cross on my little piece of land. I'm interested to know if you bait or not...if you call or whatever it is you do that helps you to bag a bear. Also...what's a good size on a bear in that area and what caliber of gun do you use.
