Today a Jefferson County Superior Court Judge has found the entire "Bear Baiting Law" Unconstitional, and thrown out the charges against two hunters charged with Baiting, for using cover scents. The definition was found to be ambiguous, what a bait is;
The Attorney for the defense asked; Is a woman on her period baiting? Is a person who cooks breakfast then hunts baiting? Is a slob who does not shower baiting?
These folks were cited for baiting because they "smelled like berries" to a game agent.
Sometimes the law does work, too bad it costs so much to prove you are right.
