WOW! Savage has come out with another cool .22LR!

Check it out, 22" threaded and fluted barrel, adjustable accu-trigger, and a McMillan tactical stock.

It doesn't get much better than that right out of the box.

What would you use the side rails for? seriously?

a flashlight so far back? would be almost useless unless you put one on both sides...

I dont quite understand the laser thing...

I've heard about using a redot off to the side but at a 90 degree angle?

I know people do some weird stuff with their guns but that would be just overly complicated and goofy on a bolt...

I will have to take a a look when they come in the door Monday or Tuesday. That is just the stock picture, I am not sure those are rails on the side.

**Update** There is a one piece rail system, it includes the front and rear scope base and two side rails 90 deg. left and right.
