Any suggestions as to what color of light between red or green is better...

I'm going to starting hunting at night for coyotes, etc. I've heard good things about the Kill Light XLR 250, but I'm not sure which one to get between the red or green; or whether I should possibly just spend the extra $60 and get the pro package that comes with white, red, and green.

Or does anyone have any suggestions for any other scope mountable lights?

Any help greatly appreciated.

The general rule of thumb is that the green will allow you to see a bit better/further but the red is a little less likely to spook the animal. Whichever one of those features means more to you is the direction you should go.

I use red only unless its Christmas, I try ti use both. A dimmed red doesnt spookem but the green makes a better killin light.
