You miss my point nwolf.
At 25 yards pick up the same aimpoint(locking/strapping down is best)....see if it strings them or makes one hole...pretty simple.
Then you will know for sure its not the scope/mount.
One thing i do with a new upper that most dont,,i put a light oil on the bcg and rack /slap it shut a couple 100 times..Put a white rag up in the mag well,spray it down w/brake parts cleaner..This helps break em in.
Might try a heavier buffer in yours,,retarding the cycle time may improve accuracy a bit.
