You will get no argument from me on that one. His wookie woman hates us even more. I say vote them out and send them back to their homeland Kenya where they belong.

didn't you get the word? apparently unemployment creates more jobs that building a pipeline from Canada to the gulf coast.

I am going to be civil here (As much as I can) Once again that @#%$^&%*&^%$#$%*&#$#@ has pull the work AWAY from me
and thousands of others
I have worked on pipelines alot of years and I will give you some first hand facts.

1) each section (called a spread ) as general rule is around 100 miles long .
2) each spread has between 400 & 600 people working on it.
3) each spread brings in 400 - 600 people who need places to stay which brings money to the motels and rv parks , money
at eating places ,grocery stores , movies , ect.
4)each spread uses a few hundered gallons of fuel each day
that is supplied localy.
5) each spread need supplies which when ever possible are bought localy.
6) each spread uses alot of heavey equipment and vech. parts which are bought localy.
7) each spread leaves the right of way a lot better then it was to begin with. This includes but not limited to : new fence's for the rancher/farmer ,a very high grade of seeding , improved roads and on &on.
8) Pipeline building is the safest that it has ever been in history. Each step is inspected and redone if needed , not over looked.

There are alot of things I did not cover like the water used , gravel ,lumber , ect.
The key stone line is 1700 miles long.
Do the math !
And that bluner headed idot stops it ??? [beeep] is he thinking

What gets me is that the Prez.says once a week how he is working to get people back to work, and then he pulls totaly political stunts like this, and all the press wants to talk about is Mitt paying 15% on money that was already taxed!!
cursing.gif

And you hear silence from the Repulican candidates on this issue also!!

When do you ever hear the press talk about the shutting down of the drilling in the Gulf of Mexico?

Or Obamas piss poor performance during the B.P. oilspill??

All that cost us serious jobs, but no we cant rember that!!

And so it goes,OBAMA'S TAPEWORM SOCIALISM!!

The bad part is, Canada told the U.S. that if we wanted to treat our whole country like a National Park, go right ahead. We've got to move this petroleum. They said that they would sell it to Asian markets if they had to. One more chance to reduce our dependance on foreign oil and he blows it once again. What an idiot! Like others have said here, I truly believe that he and his wife hate this country.

We are soooo dumb we are missing his awesomenesses plan according to NEWSWEEK.

Yeah right..his plan to push us into slavery & living at the pleasure of the Government...he'll get thrown out come November. I just hope we can withstand his lameduck tour.

Not only that, we don't understand that it is the fault of the Republican congress that he nixed the pipeline.

I fear that our country will look upon this President as one of the worst our country has seen. He has no agenda that puts people to work, is fighting expansion of the coal industry (lots of jobs), his idea of putting people to work is to create more bureaucracy and hire them. We need to slim government, I can't afford the legacy of retirement for everyone. Privatize as much as we can in governement services, those companies will have to operate to make money. In addition, they will be paying taxes on the profit. Use that to reduce our debt. Let's make America great again.

I believe I was hearing our commander of the US naval forces stationed near the straits of Hormuz saying that if Iran screwed around and blocked oil shipments through the straits of Hormuz it would be considered and act of war. I agree with the man 100%. I therefore also believe that our communist comrad in chief is the first American president to openly commit an act of war against the United States. I see no difference in this atrocity than I'd see if the Iranians blocked the straits of Hormuz. Nope, nothing different here at all. Just another treasonist liberal loon.

Have to wonder who in Nebraska is complaining... The pipeline is crossing ecologically sensitive land, and major aquifers in 3 states before it gets to Nebraska; why is Nebraska so special?

All I know is, I'm gettin real fed up with political positioning at the expense of working class Americans. The Republicans no doubt tried to shove this bill through with a 60 day approval, KNOWING there is a feud over this pipeline crossing the sand hills of Nebraska. If Obama caved in and passed the bill, he's got his nads in a ringer with the environmental types, many of whom have very deep pockets, and he can't afford to make them grumpy during an election year. If he shuts the project down, then he makes a whole lot of working class folks angry.

Obama ain't necessarily worried about the working class folks, [beeep] he's got 12 million illegal aliens with fake IDs to cover for the votes he'll lose there, he needs the environmentalist groupies campaign donations. So he shoots the project down putting a 2013 timeline on it, affording the working class some hope for the future of the project, getting his donations from his ecological groupies, setting further feuds over it off until after the election is over, so the Republicans can't hang him with it again, all the while blaming it failing on the Republicans' timeline demands.

What I don't understand is, why didn't he just go ahead and conditionally approve it attaching one of his little notes on the bottom about how his administration interpretted said approval to be affective in 2013 after they figured out how to go around Nebraska. That way he could have got the campaign funds, wouldn't have made the Nebraskans grumpy, working class might have been more understanding too... the only [beeep] ing fail in that situation is, he couldn't have tried to blame it not passing on the Republicans.
