You Were Fired For What?

It appears that Ms Davis needs to join Chaz and just go ahead and get that popular new surgery called "Addadichtomy". Such an insensitive company. Why I bet it even came with batteries.

Woman says her fake penis got her fired

BY DANA DiFILIPPO
Philadelphia Daily News

IS THAT a Fruit-A-Freeze in your pocket - or are you just happy to see me?

A northeastern Pennsylvania woman is suing a South Jersey-based maker of frozen treats and other snack foods, claiming that she was wrongfully fired because she wore a prosthetic penis to work.

Pauline Davis, 45, wore the device to the J&J Snack Foods plant in Moosic, Lackawanna County, while she contemplated a gender change, according to a federal civil-rights complaint filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Scranton. She confided in several co-workers about the device, and someone told management, according to the complaint.

She subsequently was fired from her job as a packer/line inspector. Her termination, she claims, was discriminatory because a male co-worker who wore female clothing and prostheses and took hormone treatments was not fired nor disciplined.

Further, argued her Bucks County-based attorney, Lalena J. Turchi, her fake penis was concealed and "in no way interfered with her ability to do her job."

Davis filed a complaint in March 2010 with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission office in Philadelphia, claiming gender and gender-identity discrimination.

She is seeking back pay, damages for suffering and humiliation, and punitive damages, according to this week's lawsuit.

The Daily News tried unsuccessfully to reach Davis, of Clifford, a Susquehanna County township north of Scranton, for comment. Her attorneys did not return telephone calls or emails yesterday for comment.

J&J Snack Foods Corp., based in Pennsauken, manufactures, markets and distributes treats including soft pretzels, slushies, frozen pops, cookies and churros. A J&J spokeswoman referred comment to a human-resources supervisor, who did not return our telephone call.

"She is seeking back pay, damages for suffering and humiliation, and punitive damages, according to this week's lawsuit."

She was damaged goods before she was fired if she was packing a prosthetic Johnson. I wonder if there is a precedent for this in the penile code (pun and bad spelling intended

)? Did she have a conceal carry permit for it?

We are living in a sick society. I mean it's not bad enough that some reprobate dike would want to carry a plastic wanker around so as to be ready at all times. Then she/it has the right to sue somebody and piss away taxpayer money because somebody said enough.
Unbelievable!

Would you want a he/she/it working in your company, much less a person who looks like they stood in front of a nail gun or electric stapler in the face for an hour?

Stupid & disgusting! Who wants to hear that kind of crap from a co-worker? They should sue he-she-it for sexual harassment!----Ben Jimmy

Quote:She confided in several co-workers about the device, and someone told management, according to the complaint....I don't see where she has a complaint since she was the one that started spreading of knowledge that she was wearing one....

Had she kept her mouth shut and it been discovered inadvertently by someone else, then that's a different matter...

There are a lot of "Bull Dykes" out in our society and as long as they keep the proclivities to themselves, I really don't care... but when they start pushing their lifestyle in my face, or at my family, then I have no problem taking them to task...

That's it exactly OT. They can do what makes them happy,I don't need to approve and condone their lifestyle. They have Rights but so does everyone else.

DAMM... Just reading about the staff at J&J Snack Foods makes my skin crawl. Guys cross dressing; girls cross dressing, wearing sexual prothestics to work and chit. Not sure what they sposed to be packin at work, but what they packin to work is just a wee bit strange!!!

Personally I would say management had grounds for her/his/its dismissal, under sexual harassment law. Any discussion of a sexual nature, that makes one feel uncomfortable may be construed as sexual harrassment; you don't have to proposition someone. And, the individual feeling uncomfortable doesn't have to be a party to the discussion or actions in question. Quite frankly, if I had some wigged out lesbian on the line next to me telling about how she was wearing her strap on to work, and how it turned her on, I might be a little uncomfortable with it. Especially after the guy on the other side of the line cross dressed previously. I'm pretty sure I'd be talking to management about their hiring practices, the dress code, my uncomfortable feelings, and inquiring when they were going to start charging admission to their freakin zoo.

If more than one coworker complained, or if she had previous complaints lodged against her, she's out the door on a sexual harrassment charge, or management is liable for allowing it to continue.

And, I'm like OT there, if they want to be gay, they can go be gay in their bedroom, don't shove it my face, and don't try to teach my grandchildren it's normal before they're old enough to know what normal is. Honestly, I think we need to go back to beatin their azz every time one speaks openly about their homosexuality, because when they were afraid they'd get their azz beat for admitting such, the rest of us didn't have to put up with their bullpucky!!

This is just crazy.

So what happens when a man decided he feels like a woman today and wants to hang out in the girls shower, or the clever boy in Highschool?

Man Rocky, you just nailed it. Wasn't that many years ago that as a whole that lifestyle was more discreet. It seemed that when we as a population policed them better, and yes sometimes rather harshly, it was a more pleasant country. It's gotten so out of hand with this in your face crap. Even TV shows now commonly show this crap. I'm afraid the genie is out of the bottle, er, make that the fairy is out of the bottle.

What Rocky said:Don't teach kids it's right before they are old enough to know what right is.That is the problem in a nut shell to me.A parent is just up against it now days.So much of society is into being politically correct it's almost dangerous for a parent to teach their kids how to believe.I guess one good thing that can be done is try to find a good church and take them so they can hear what Jesus had to say about such things. If the parents won't take them then the Grandparents will need to.You better believe old scratch is doing all he can to start on the children young. We better be fighting back.

It seems like things I always took for granted have vanished in the wind. People don't seem to have any manners at all. No values, no morales, no common decency. Taking pride in yourself in the most basic ways is gone. People go out in public in their pajamas, or thongs pulled up 3" above their jeans with a tank top 5 sizes too small, no bra, gut hanging & swanging out from under their cartoon tee-shirt, only shave 2-3 times a month, filthy hair, etc. Drugs & alcohol, domestic abuse of adults & children, pornography, friends with benefits, sexting, gangs, homosexual crap, the list is endless. How can we expect anything from the next generations with the role-models they have today? People have lost their right to parent their kids. The sad/frightening part is that so many parents don't care. They don't want the responsibility of raising a child, they just want a baby, not a smart-mouthed kid. What happened?----Ben Jimmy

Ben,I worry that I helped things get this way.I went to work in Cable TV 30 years ago.No one around here had ever had more than 1 TV and most had 3 channels they could watch.Everyone watched what the man of the house wanted to watch. When the news was on the kids were quite.A lot of you remember those days.I helped build cable to most homes in this county.I wanted to help people come out of the sticks and keep up with the world. To start with there was still one TV and Dad ran it.Then He and the wife got a TV in the bedroom,to watch Johnny Carson. Then the kids got a TV in their rooms. Then the Internet came.I helped bring it to thousands of homes, they said the kids would need Internet to keep up in school.By then the evening meal was gone,Dad did not see the kids when he came home from work. Then everyone in the house had their own computer.Parents lost track of what their kids were doing, after all they were home right?Communication. But so much of what is communicated is filth and the family don't communicate with each other.I have had mothers beg me to build cable to their house and admit that the kids were to much for them.I have had mothers cry on the phone to me for cable to babysit their kids.I thought for years I was doing a good thing by fighting for the money to build more plant so everyone could have access to the internet. Now I'm not so sure I did a good thing.TV and Internet can be a great thing but like a lot of other things,it needs to be used wisely.

Tnshootist, As with too many things, I'm sure the pursuit of the almighty dollar has played a very large part in the neglect of our next generations. Parenting is a full time job which requires constant, hands-on, attention with nurturing & disciplinary skills. Electronics have become the babysitter of choice for too many parents.

I do remember Daddy watching the news every night. We all watched the news on whatever channel he chose. Kids did not touch the knobs on the TV set nor the radio. If we got to watch cartoons on Saturday morning after chores, we watched them on the channel that Mama turned on for us.

You could not have bribed nor beaten one of us enough to touch the TV at someone else's house. Daddy would have killed us. If we went to a friends home we were allowed to eat no more than 2 cookies or 1 slice of cake. If we were offered a drink, we were to ask for water only. To this day, I knock on my parents door & wait to be invited inside. I do not open the refrigerator unless invited to have a soft drink, etc. Most people don't teach their children how to behave at home, much less in public. My kids thought we were sooo old fashioned until they found there were still a few of their friends parents who also think it is very rude to just open the door & go into someones home without first knocking, then waiting to be invited in. Kids are not the only ones to do that & I find it infuriating to look up & see some grinning idiot standing in my house, when I had no idea there was anyone around!---Ben Jimmy

Actually AZ, you already said it...

We as a society as a whole, are being taught tolerance, by our government. And, we are allowing it. Why?
