headed out this weekend. weather has been warm. wondering what kind of calling i should do. thought about starting with rabbit distress then some pup whimpers and then back to rabbit distress and then repeating sequence for about 15 minutes. any thoughts.

Hiya Nebraska.

That would work for me. I'd use it. I also like LOTS of rabbit distress and some pup distress/whimpers at the end of LOTS of rabbit distress.

If you know there are coyotes hearing you and they ain't coming to the distress sounds, change up on your following stands and start with a non threat howl of some sort, then go to distress.

I dunno. I ain't been out in a while, but from reading the posts here, it would seem there is a slight lull in the action going on right now for a few guys. But then again, the killers that are always killin, keep on killin.
