Has anyone tried the ic assualt? I have found plenty of info on carlsons, kicks, etc, but I would like to know if the assualt is any good. Will be shooting hevi shot dead coyote.
 
The Assault is too loose in the constriction range for smaller shot like BB, T, and No. Four Buck. Indian Creek struggles under the impression predator hunters use 00 Buck. However, the Black Diamond Strike is offered in constrictions that are usable to predator hunters with the shot sizes mentioned above. It's the same choke, just tighter constriction. Indian Creek will also spin one to whatever diameter you'd like if you give them a call and make the arrangements. They are very high quality chokes and good folks to deal with. Best turkey choke I've ever found.
